Seahorse Al Mare is part of the Mitch Tonks dynasty, which includes the critically acclaimed Seahorse restaurant in Dartmouth, and the chain of family-friendly fish and chip establishments in the region ‘RockFish’. It is something quite special.

Bringing the taste of the Seahorse to your home or holiday home. You can now enjoy the finest South Devon food and drink freshly prepared and served to you, without having to go out!

What is The Seahorse Al Mare?

Perfect for that special occasion – The Seahorse Al Mare. The team is led by head chef Jake Bridgwood and they can cater for up to 42 people.

They bring their incredible mobile grill – something of a trademark for The Seahorse. As well as everything you might need for an al fresco dinner party. Table clothes, flowers, seating… you need only provide a suitable venue for your party and they do the rest!

They will then cook and serve a menu to your taste. And also provide the Champagne, rosé, white and red wine, along with a digestif, all for a fixed price per head.

Whether you are looking to enjoy a party for two to celebrate a landmark anniversary, a summer gathering of special family and friends, or perhaps an evening to mark a milestone birthday.

The Seahorse Al Mare is available to anyone, and can be adapted to your individual needs.

What dishes can we expect from Seahorse Al Mare?

A menu can be created to suit your individual tastes and preferences, but typically guests can expect four courses, comprising of fish and meat cooked on the grill. As well as salads, artisan breads and dishes in keeping with seasonality and availability locally.

With a good mix of fish, meat and vegetarian options, the menus are diverse and varied. And if you have a particular preference or disliking of something, they are fully adaptable!

Which properties would work to host a Seahorse Al Mare meal?

Ideally a property should have a spacious outside area, the more scenic the better. The Seahorse Al Mare team aim for guests to feel as though they are relaxing in the Mediterranean!

How about Woodwell in Salcombe. Where you can relax with seven of your closest friends or family, and enjoy an excellent meal on the spacious terrace, whilst admiring the views over the Salcombe estuary.

Or, dine on your banquet in the gardens of the stylish conversion, Linham Barn, near Kingsbridge, which accommodates up to 16!
