    “During our stay last week we were considerably concerned about the central heating.”

    The boiler is in the kitchen. This gave off an unacceptable level of oil fumes. It meant that we were loathe to use the central heating - we were just lucky that the weather wasn’t too cold, as we kept windows open to lessen the fumes. It was unpleasant preparing food where the fumes were of course at their worst. We reported this and received unhelpful standard replies, sent by AI. We now would appreciate a proper response from you. This was a health and safely issue that could have been frankly dangerous. We require good will response, and not a pitifully inappropriate standard piece of mail

The property

Nestled in the picturesque village of Bigbury, within easy reach of the sandy beaches at Bigbury-on-Sea, Honeysuckle Cottage is a charming barn conversion with outstanding rural views over the surrounding countryside.

Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout the barn is accessed through the small cottage garden, the front door leads into a hallway from which all rooms on the ground floor can be accessed.

The kitchen has a range of attractive duck-egg blue fitted cupboards and all appliances including a dishwasher.

The spacious open plan lounge/dining room offers two easy chairs, comfortable sofas and a dining table for four guests.

Two bedrooms in total.

The master bedroom with King-size bed, wardrobes, and views of the sea in the distance.

The second bedroom has two single beds which can be made into a King size bed on request.

Also on the second floor is a family bathroom with bath, shower (over) wash-hand basin and w.c.

Outside is a small cottage garden with a table and chairs perfect for alfresco dining.

Parking for two cars is provided in the courtyard a short walk away.

Wireless Broadband is provided and two well behaved dogs are welcome.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
