This was disappointing as we had had a long journey with a toddler in tow. I informed the owners and this was put right straight away and the cleaners arrived within the hour to clean and make the beds up. Apart from this we had a lovely stay and we felt the cottage was well equipped with everything we needed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m really sorry the cottage hadn’t been cleaned when you arrived. I completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after a long journey with a toddler in tow.
We’ve recently changed cleaning companies, and unfortunately there was a miscommunication on their part which meant they didn’t turn up as scheduled. We’ve since spoken with them directly to understand what went wrong, and we’ve also changed the way we arrange and confirm all future cleans to make absolutely sure this doesn’t happen again.
That said, I’m really pleased to hear that things were sorted quickly and even more so that you had a lovely stay overall and found the cottage well equipped with everything you needed.
