Be welcomed into the well-equipped kitchen, where you can look forward to whipping up delicious meals for your guests, with the help of the oven, hob, grill, microwave and fridge, your guests set the table and uncork a bottle of wine.
Settle down to dine at the dining table for six, as you tuck-in to a flavourful meal and toast to an unforgettable getaway or snuggle up on the window seat and relax reading a book looking across the river to Dartmouth.
After a satisfying meal, make your way into the sitting room where you can curl up on the generous corner sofa with your loved ones, and enjoy a family movie night courtesy of the wall-mounted TV.
Continue through the property where you will find a handy cloakroom with basin and WC, ideal for avoiding those morning queues!
When sleep calls, retreat to one of three well-appointed double rooms to catch your rest, two of which have there own TVs and one with an en-suite shower room, whilst the others are served by a tastefully decorated shower room.
Awake from a leisurely slumber and indulge in a refreshing shower, before heading onto the roof terrace to savour a steaming cup of coffee ahead of a day of adventures.
The property also benefits from a separate utility room with washing machine and a large storage area ideal for bikes or paddleboards with a public slipway just yards away by the Royal Dart Yacht Club.
The River Dart, Kingswear Castle, the Coast Path, and Coleton Fishacre, a National Trust property, are all within a short distance of your Devon home-from-home, so you can take advantage of the area's many attractions.
Dartmouth Steam Railway is a great option for those who prefer to travel by train rather than foot, whilst still soaking up the glorious views on offer.
At The Ship Inn or Steam Packet Inn, you can treat your loved ones to a delicious lunch while enjoying stunning views of the River Dart.
Take a ferry to Dartmouth and visit the Dartmouth Museum, where you can learn about the town's rich history, as well as the 16th-century Bayard's Cove, Dartmouth Castle, and its 15th-century tower.
There are many of activities available at the Blue Flag beach at Blackpool Sands, including kayaking and paddle boarding as well as a nearby cafe where you can have an ice cream for your loved ones.
You can't miss the Woodlands Family Theme Park, which features a zoo/farm, rides, and kid-friendly attractions.
Nearby Totnes has an outstanding Norman castle, the Totnes Image Bank, the Totnes Fashion and Textile Museum, and the beautiful parks of Borough and Leechwell Garden.

We are regular visitors to Kingswear and were aware of the property, having stayed next door a couple of years previously.
The property is very comfortable, with quality furniture and fittings. The three bedrooms are all true doubles, and the bathrooms are well equipped. The only issue we had was with the property description, which states: "The property also benefits from a separate utility room with washing machine and a large storage area ideal for bikes or paddleboards." As the property has a garage, we assumed this was the storage area; however, this was not the case. We were advised that the utility room was the storage area, but we did not find it suitable for storing our kayaks and had to make alternative arrangements during our stay. The other issue was cleanliness on arrival. The fridge contained remnants of food, several utensils were greasy, and the air fryer still contained chips from a previous stay. Apart from these issues, it is a nice property in a good location. The outdoor decking area was a real bonus and a lovely sheltered sun trap. Its location next to the Lower Ferry and train station is also a real advantage. It can be busy during the day but is very quiet at night.
This is a fantastic property for exploring Dartmouth and the surrounding area.
It was lovely to stay on the Kingswear side and enjoy the views over the river. Accommodation itself - very well furnished with a comfortable a very good quality sofa and beds in all rooms with nice bedding and pillows. So many rentals are lacking on this front, but we all slept well here which is a huge bonus! The showers in both bathrooms were good. Kitchen had plenty of nice quality glasses / plates etc and more than you would need so that you don’t have to wash up all the time. There is a cafetière and an nespresso machine in the kitchen. The terrace was lovely and gets the sun pretty much all day and into the evening so great for breakfast and pre dinner drinks. The lower ferry runs every 5 mins and you can buy a card on there and top up with 20 or 40 trips which works out at £1pp per way. Parking - you can drive to the door or train station car park and unload and then park down the hill in the marina if you’re not using the car every day. A very well equipped and comfortable holiday rental which is beautifully finished and feels more like a home than a rental. Would definitely return.
Disappointed with the outdoor area.
View was of someone else’s washing hanging outside with no privacy. There was a used ash tray and cobwebs and it was an uninviting place to sit, hence we didn’t use it. I think guests should be made aware of this so they can make an informed choice whether this is suitable for them or not. Although settees soft and for younger people probably comfy. For older people they were quite low down and difficult to get comfortable in and to actually get out of. Kitchen had everything you need and more. Location is great as it is right next to car ferry, foot ferry and steam train although this can make it a bit noisy in the evening. Beds were very comfortable. Parking was £77 for the week. Expensive but right next to property so convenient. There was very little to do in Kingsmear itself but nice to get the ferry across to Dartmouth. The train station sells books of 20 tickets for £20 for the ferry which was very reasonable and a nice start and finish to your day. Car is £7.50 or £14 return. Overall we enjoyed our stay but disappointed with outdoor space and lack of things to do in Kingswear.
