“Brilliant. Really top quality accommodation, great facilities and wonderful location.”

We enjoyed the view and all of the activity in the marina, river and railway! The folding/sliding glass doors facing the river require some maintenance! Whilst they work ok, on first opening a large piece of trim at the top left fell onto the balcony below. left a gap which was fine in current hot weather, but would be a problem in colder weather. Otherwise, couldn't fault.

“This is a beautiful & well equipped apartment with fantastic views!”

There are 2 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and the whole place has a genuine feel of luxury. It’s in a perfect location, good parking facilities and within a 2 minute walk of the local pub or terraced bar ! It also allows pets ! We love it so much we are already booked for 2027 !

“Our second visit to 21 Dart Marina as we loved it so much last year.”

The parking, lift and open accommodation made it so easy for my dad who has mobility issues. We had a very hot week (too hot for us to sit out) so to sit at the balcony watching the ever changing river, was heavenly. Highly recommend!

“Apartment was large, warm and the beds were great.”

Our comments are that in the main bathroom the grout around the shower step was grubby and in both bathrooms we had to work hard to get the shower levers to move to get them to work. The kitchen was well equipped. The sofa in the lounge area was very low and soft not that comfy. It was annoying that neither bedroom curtains worked automatically and the wires hung down loosely in main room, both curtains had to be tugged together. We stayed in the apartment earlier this year and in the main bedroom the curtain was like this then.

Here is the status on your points: - The grout in the bathrooms has been cleaned - We know the shower leavers are stiff and think that's just the way they are. We will update the visitors notes - The curtains are being replaced over the winter - we are doing some refurbishment on the sofa, but don't plan to replace it yet Property Owner

“We swopped apartments to number 23.”

These comments relate to 23 Marina. As previously reported, it’s about time the damaged curtain runner was repaired, and the two window chairs replaced. I can’t understand why these complaints are being ignored. Otherwise very satisfactory.

“Can’t fault Sykes as they are our go to whenever we stay down south in the UK.”

21 Dart Marina is a very nice property and very clean and tidy. Perfect as we were bringing our little dog with us this time. We stay away 6-8 times a year, uk snd overseas and my only criticism with this property is that the beds are uncomfortable, it’s a personal thing, but the mattresses are quite hard. We also struggled to get up and down from the sofa as it’s so low, but I think that’s an age thing combined with how low they are, knees are not what they used to be. Sadly because of this we wouldn’t book the property again for ourselves, but it is still a very nice place with beautiful views and very well equipped.

“We had a lovely stay here with our little sausage dog, perfect location, beautiful, well equipped apartment.”

Only minor issue we encountered was with parking, however that was due to our vehicle size & that of the neighbours, plus the wall. Easily solved though in that we parked in a visitor space. One thing that could be improved would be the pillows, other than that we loved our stay so much we re-booked for the following year & hopefully will have an equally as comfortable stay.

“The owner needs to check the boiler for water leaks, we had to call out Coast and Country to restore the pressure, and it had fallen from 2 to 1.”

5 bar by the time we left. Darragh tightened the hose connectors on the silvery U shaped hose to the left of the boiler which were dripping. You'll see the water marks in the floor under. Suggest you get a technician to tighten fully. It was not working when we arrived but Coast and Country fixed it within the hour of my calling. Excellent service from them. Couldn't get out of my car when correctly parked owing to wall and next door SUV fulling it's space centrally. The nice lady at Dart Marina office said never mind, park in any unnumbered space. Would that work in August? Returning to the boiler, we left the controls set as they were, at 18 Deg I think and the thermostat set to 2.5 Thanks for an enjoyable stay! Richard Bull

Classy modern apartment with smart bedrooms and a large lounge area. Lift to the first floor proved very useful and accessibility to Dartmouth was perfect. We have infact just booked for a week in September 2025 We were more than pleased with our stay at number 41.

“This was a lovely flat - generally well equipped and comfortable and with fantastic views over the river.”

There was always something to look at from naval cadets’ manoeuvres to the paddle steamer, ferry across the river, all sorts of sailing craft and even seals and herons. The flat is also within an easy walk of all the facilities in Dartmouth. It made an excellent holiday.
