Broadstone Boathouse

We enjoyed our stay very much.

The accommodation was small but well organised. Great location. Two minutes walk to the town and the river. The only downside was lack of parking. We ended up going on the train and bus, so it wasn't easy to take much with us.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location, and some nice snacks were left for us by the owners.

However, there was nowhere to park at all — even the Sainsbury’s JustPark was fully booked for the two weeks. The noise from the flat above was also terrible. I know it’s not the owners’ fault that there is nowhere to park, but the apartment really needs soundproofing, as there was no sleep until late at night, and the noise started again at 6am.

Position is everything.

.. which is this bijou property's absolute bonus, being literally steps away from everything in Dartmouth. The owners have put in a great deal of care. Comfortable bed, great shower, nice furnishings. Personally I might have used less furniture, but that in no way detracts from the 5 stars I have given it. Dartmouth is a wonderful place and we shall be back.

Fantastic location for a short break away, great layout with everything you could wish for being supplied.

Lovely stay, comfy chairs and bed, loads of room in the bathroom.

The property was really well located. The only issue was we would have liked a small saucepan and maybe a bit more light in the kitchen area, otherwise , we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little apartment, all as described, we stayed for 3 nights and didn’t use our car the whole time we were there.

The Boathouse is a beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean, really comfy bed & with everything you would need for your stay, it's very centrally located being a 1 minute flat walk to the town centre, the owners were really helpful & quickly answered any questions we had, we will definitely stay again & I would 100% recommend it.

The accommodation was small as expected but very comfortable and the owners were very responsive.

The only issues we had was the place was very cold and it took quite a while to warm it up. Plus we had to move furniture to get to a plug that was switched off.

THIS IS A LOVELY APARTMENT JUST RIGHT FOR 2 AND A DOG BRILLIANT LOCATION AND AS WE WERE OUT OF SEASON PARKING WAS VERY EASY THE ROOM IS COSY THE KITCHEN CLOSES OFF INTO A CUPBOARD IS BRILLIANT IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND COULD WANT THERE IS NO COOKER BUT THERE IS A HOB AND A MICROWAVE SO CAN DO SIMPLE COOKING WHICH IS ALL YOU WANT WHEN ON HOLIDAY THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE BATHROOM A GOOD SIZE WITH A LOVELY SHOWER WE VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR STAY

A fantastic property ideally located in the centre of Dartmouth.

The accommodation is to a high standard, was spotlessly clean & included everything we required for a relaxing break away. Will definitely recommend to family & friends & we will rebook for ourselves when we next visit Dartmouth

Absolutely perfect, lovely and clean and everything you need.

Thought the kitchen area was very clever never seen it before. Maybe put a light of some sort when you open the door to the kitchen area. Location perfect. Would definitely like to stay here again and will be recommending it to friends. Thank you

Lovely little ground floor apartment in the centre of Dartmouth.

Furnished to a very high standard. Everything is within walking distance such as shops, restaurants and pubs. When we arrived the owners had left us some scones, jam and clotted cream which was a lovely touch. It was very well equipped with a unique cupboard which when opened revealed a sink, hob, microwave and fridge. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen. The bathroom was a good size with a nice walk in shower. Good quality towels. There’s a cosy snug to relax and watch tv in at night. Overall the apartment is compact but It is perfect for two people and I would certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

The cottage is fabulous.

Superb location, beautifully designed and every little detail thought of. It was more spacious than expected and perfect for a couple or sole traveller. We would 100% recommend a stay here. The owners were extremely helpful before checking in too.
