“When we arrived at the property the smoke alarm was beeping (someone came and fixed it the next day) the microwave had food splattered on the glass turntable and when I opened the fridge one shelf was missing and the other fell out not a good start to our holiday.”
Unfortunately the standard cleanliness was very poor, ranging from filthy windows, greasy hand prints on the kitchen cupboards,cobwebs in window corners. As for maintenance there was an outside table missing a glass panel and sand in the hot tub.
To top it all when we started to strip the bed before leaving we found that both pillow protectors were badly stained.
The property could be a really nice if they sorted out the cleanliness/maintenance issues.
We won't be returning!

I'm sorry that you were unhappy with the standard of the cleanliness of the house. We pay a professional cleaning company to clean after every let and 99% of our guests give us a good review. I have passed your comments on to them.
I have now replaced the cracked shelves in the fridge door. The "missing shelf" that you refer to had been put on top of the fridge by a previous guest.
The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled after each let also.
We rely on feedback from the cleaners and guests so thank you for your comments. We have replaced the glass panel in the garden table which was broken during the bad storms earlier in the year.
I hope that these minor issues didn't spoil your stay too much.
