    “The postcode is way out.”

    No spare toilet rolls ( 6 people!!!}. Company uncontactable. Had to go to Salcombe to the office. Spare bin bags under the bags in the bins. No note to tell us. Total lack of storage space in bedrooms. Found coat hangers pity there was no rail to hang them on!, small bedrooms had only a small drawer no wardrobe or hanging space

Outside there is a delightful communal garden where you can picnic in the sunshine with views across the countryside, and here you will also find a communal laundry.

Only a short walk from the shops, pubs and beach, Hope Cove is a delightful location for your seaside getaway.

Enjoy a meal out or a glass of your favourite beverage at one of the local eateries, and stock up on essentials at the local shop, before heading over the stunning sandy Hope Cove, a simply dreamy spot to enjoy the sunshine and seaside views.

From here, guests can hike along the coast and see what wildlife they can spot along the way, following the Bolt Trail towards the National Trust’s Bolberry Down, Soar Mill Cove and beyond.

The picturesque and unspoiled village of Hope Cove lies in the sheltered curve of Bigbury Bay on Devon’s south coast. A choice destination for families, the two beaches offering soft sand and rock pools for sandcastle building and fishing for small crabs. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards Bigbury-on-sea in one direction and the coastal resort of Salcombe in the other.
