Waters Reach

A well equipped and very comfortable place to stay.

Everything was clean and the rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and bedding. Living space felt spacious and airy. kitchen was well equipped and the outside space was a real bonus. This was a perfect spot for us for swimming and walking and we loved our stay. The only improvement we could think of was a couple of fans as we stayed during a heatwave!

Only one thing we missed- a dvd player as we’d brought some favourites dvds with us but fortunately weather was very warm so able to enjoy the sun out on the balcony.

My wife and I loved our stay at the property called water reach .

Felt at home as soon as we entered. Lovely smart clean and bright and all the modern amenities you will ever need . My mattress was so good I am purchasing the same mattress at home. Only ten minutes walk into to town and the harbour. Plenty of eating places and pubs. Would not hesitate to return for second visit.

Nice location close to the centre of Kingsbridge

This location was ideal for us.

Thank goodness we are fit, as the steps up and down, are not for the faint hearten. Otherwise fantastic, clean, easy to locate everything that was needed. Instructions were easy to read and available.

We have an ongoing love affair with the South Hams going back to 1971 and have really enjoyed Waters Reach the property felt like home from the moment we ran up the steps aggregate age 151 !

It was spotless and provided every home comfort whilst being very private and convenient for all the amenities that Kingsbridge offers Thankyou once again we will return

Great property.

Well presented and well equipped kitchen. Clean. Comfy beds. Coast & Country kept in touch with us at all stages and they made a courtesy phone call one day into our stay to check if we needed anything and were there if needed, good service.

The only drawback to this property is the steps, in fairness we were made aware before our visit so it is not a fault but an inconvenience.

The property is immaculately clean and the owners ensured we had everything needed for our stay.

It wasn't clear in the listing that here was a 34 step climb to a ground floor property, as this was why I booked it for my 86 year old mum who uses a walking aid.

The instructions for the refuse was inaccurate or out of date as it was a fortnightly collection foreither the main rubbish or the recyclable which was made clear at all. But all in all it was a very clean and well maintained property.

No problem with steps.

Exercise is good for you. Especially good walk along beautiful quayside to.good pub. Well-appointed apartment clean and tidy. Coming.back.soon,!

Not a place to stay if you like peace and quiet!

Regarding Sykes Cottages UK.

I have given you a mark of only 5 because I was inundated with far to many unnecessary and, with regard to my break, unrelated Emails. Regarding the property, no complaints at all. The property was clean, well supported with utensils etc and sited within easy reach of facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waters Reach - lovely to arrive to, exceptionally clean and well maintained.

The maisonette was well furnished and very well equipped -with everything being of a high quality. We were very comfortable there. It was in an ideal position in Kingsbridge for all the facilities and for access to good bus services and for us walking the section of the coast path between Plymouth and Dartmouth.

The flat was very nice to stay in -thank you.

It is a good location and use of the drive for parking was really good. There were only two of us staying here so there was plenty of room. The whole flat is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. A minor thing but there is no opportunity at the flat for recycling. I took our cans, bottles and paper to the town to recycle. Perhaps the dates for refuse collection, which is fortnightly, could be in the flat together with the alternate week's dates for recycling with the recycling box/bags there too.

Pleasantly surprised as the photos make it look smaller than the flat actually was.

Bedrooms were a good size as was the rest of the flat.

The flat was really well presented, had excellent facilities all very new and great quality.

Really well situated for our various trips. Only comment to make was that there were no recycling boxes/bags. We had to take our glass, plastic and cans away.

Very nice accommodation We enjoyed our stay although we did find the steps a little to much But would suit younger stayer’s.
