    “Brilliant holiday; brilliant house; only issue - the smart appliances (oven, microwave oven, and hob) were too smart for us.”

The property

3 The Drive is an exceptional five-bedroomed detached house, recently constructed to a high specification, overlooking local woodland and the beautiful South Hams countryside.

Designed to provide luxurious, stylish and very tastefully furnished accommodation for up to ten guests, the property boasts a good sized terrace and garden. The stunning 35' open-plan sitting/dining room features a wood burning stove, TV with Sky, and ample comfortable seating, plus a large wooden dining table.

The elegantly hand crafted kitchen has beautiful units topped with Silestone and is equipped mostly with Siemens appliances.

The utility room has a Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Ground floor shower room. The property has five good sized bedrooms.

At first floor level are two superb en suite double rooms, each with a super-King size (zip and link) bed.

The immaculately presented en suites each have a large walk-in shower with ceiling-mounted rain head shower.

Also at this level is a spacious children's bedroom with full-size bunk beds and a large TV with Sky.

This also has an en suite/adjacent shower room. There are two further bedrooms at second floor level, each of which has a King-size double bed.

In addition to the three en suite bathrooms and ground floor shower room, there is a second floor family bathroom with freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. With additional garden and plenty of parking, the house also benefits from the use of the beautifully maintained grounds and facilities of Hillfield Village, including an all-weather tennis court, outdoor pool and children's play area.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
