    “The property was perfect, the house was comfortable and well equipped.”

    The decked seating area outside was lovely for sitting and enjoying breakfast in the sun or having an evening meal together. We didn’t use the roof terrace as the weather was too warm but I am sure that would have been perfect to sit and enjoy the evening as well. The bifold doors were a welcome feature to let a lovely breeze into the house and extended the space. Only downside was the sofa is getting a bit tired and has sank in places but we didn’t spend much time on it. The only thing ...

Only downside was the sofa is getting a bit tired and has sank in places but we didn’t spend much time on it. The only thing to make people aware before booking is if you are a nervous driver or have a large car the lanes approaching are very narrow- single track with some passing spaces which just about let 2 cars to pass. Not enough to put us off visiting again. Challaborough and Bigby on Sea are absolute gems of locations for a quiet, get away from it holidays- just what we needed.

In Challaborough, 150 yards up from the sandy, family-friendly Blue Flag beach, a stunning ultra-modern detached home, one of 12 newly built in a small, gated development.

Carpeted stairs (stairgates) down to ground floor and four stylish bedrooms with smart modern fabrics and bespoke blinds/shutters - two double (5' beds), both with ceiling-high glazed doors to drive at the front), one with en suite shower-room (suite); a twin (zip-linkable to 6' double) with TV, and another twin.

A superb new seaside home, just a stone's throw from the beautiful beach. Challaborough Bay: popular sandy bay flanked by private homes, a family run holiday park, and good fish 'n' chip café (seasonal), ½ mile from the pretty village of Ringmore and its real ale pub.
