    “Sofas were not the most comfortable and the bedroom needs freshening up as mould is appearing near the ceiling and in the wardrobe.”

The property

4 The Elms is a very comfortable and well equipped first floor apartment with good estuary views and allocated parking for one car.

The property can sleep two in the King-size bed, additionally there is a large 'put you up' bed in the lounge, which is suitable for an extra adult or two small children. Good estuary views from lounge and bedroom.

Entrance hallway with room for coats, buggies etc.

Dual aspect lounge/dining room with large TV, DVD, Radio/ipod player, sofa and 'cuddle' sofa.

Dining area opens out into a new refurbished galley kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, oven, washer/dryer, coffee maker, microwave and fridge (with freezer compartment) with seating specifically designed to maximise the estuary views.

Sliding patio doors to ornamental balcony.

One bedroom with King-size bed, dressing table, units and fitted wardrobe.

The bathroom has a new walk in shower,wash-hand basin, w.c., shaver point and light.

Parking for one small car in an allocated space. At the lower end of the town (at the apex of Allenhayes Road and Onslow Road) just 5 minutes walk from the main shops, restaurants and waterfront.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

All bed linen will be provided. You will need to bring your own towels, beach towels, tea towels and bath mats.
