    “Great views from centrally located flat”

    Stayed here in Easter hols... easy flat so close to the water with lovely views from sitting room and when washing up (all important). Unload and park in long stay car park (use App to pay each day). Everything is walkable and new Co Op a bonus (stock up on walk back from parking car). So many excellent places to eat and shop.. The world's best sweet shop across the road and gin producer round the corner so all Been coming to Salcombe for 50years and never tire. This flat another cosy place to ...

The property

Located in the very centre of Salcombe, next to Chapel End public slipway.

This traditional property is less than a one-minute walk from ferries to sandy beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Both the living room and kitchen offer excellent views of the harbour and estuary, where you can either enjoy taking in relaxing views, or participate in watersports such as sailing, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

A parking permit for the long stay carpark (approx 8 min walk from the property) will be provided for bookings after 4th January 2020
