The property

Nestled in the heart of Salcombe, with access to the South West Coast Path and beautiful beaches of Devon, is Kennford.

This three-storey holiday home offers spacious rooms and plush furnishings, making the most of a coastal location.

It is perfect for family retreats and groups of friends looking to celebrate and make new memories together.

The hallway is adorned with an oak wood floor leading you into the living room.

Here, you can lounge on pastel blue, sumptuous sofas and take in the soothing décor surrounding you.

Sit in the bay window with a refreshing drink and glimpse views of the Shadycombe Creek and hills beyond.

Cook up a hearty meal in the well-appointed kitchen to the rear and dine with your loved ones around the large dining table.

The bedrooms rest over two floors, each thoughtfully presented with contemporary-style décor.

The master bedroom offers painted wooden floors, a built-in wardrobe and a stylish, en-suite bathroom with WC.C and basin.

Three additional carpeted bedrooms follow, two with twin beds and one with children's bunks.

To the exterior, there is a delightful, multi-tiered garden benefitting a sitting area and pergola concealed by grapevines.

Just a few minutes' walk to the waterfront, will bring you to all the delight of the town, including shops, pubs and cafes.

Stroll the sandy beaches and even try out many of the water sports available.

You also have access to the market towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and the vibrant city of Plymouth.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Off road parking for one car. Bonnet of 5 series BMW fits in recess under front bay windows (see image of recess in pictures of front of house). Range Rover, camper van, or other wider and higher bonnets/vehicle fronts will not.
