Extremely happy with the house.

Excellent communication from the office following up a problem we had with a kitchen drawer. Shame the drive is really only big enough for a small car as we had to park on other roads to avoid the permit parking. But that wouldn’t stop us booking again.

We had a wonderful stay, very well located with car parking space (as mentioned, we suggest it's only big enough for a small to medium car, there is further street parking up the road).

Short and easy walk into Salcombe. The downstairs Kitchen/Diner are even better than the photos suggest - airy, light, will be fantastic in the summer. House well appointed, cosy but enough space for two families. Plenty of space to spread out. Would be great if a cot and high chair could be provided for further comfort and amenity to families.

Perfect location easy access for our family .

Outside space was ideal and very well kept extending space with open Bi Fold doors from the kitchen. Having the side door into the kitchen was perfect for the 2 dogs coming in Kitchen was wonderful as we needed to eat in every evening very well equipped and the open plan made it a great place for us all to enjoy while cooking. The only recommendation I would say would be a toddler stairgate for the stairs. We had a wonderful time thank you so much.

On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean.

Light and airy the cottage feels homely. The kitchen/family room is a lovely, relaxing space with bifold doors out to the garden. From the comfy sofa you can see plenty of greenery, treetops and blue skies, a great spot to curl up with a good book. Even though there is no TV in the kitchen/family room we spent most of our time in the here and hardly used the cosy sitting room at the front of the property. Furniture and fixtures are good quality throughout. A fabulous cottage so close to pubs, shops, beaches and walks for dogs. We will book again. Thank you.

We were delighted to be the first to stay in the property and glad we did especially for New year!

It was finished to a high standard. Very comfortable and cozy and in a great location into the centre of salcombe. Also worth noting that this side of the town feels quieter regarding cars and much easier and safer to walk into the town with kids on this side. Parking is a bit tight on the drive but we were warned and managed to get out larger car just about onto the drive with some care and no fines received. A couple of things we thought should be worth consideration; A second child gate at the top of the first set of stairs. We had small children and conveniently for them the door handles are fairly low down which they could reach. We were on edge on the first night with them getting out and taking a stumble down the stairs. We thought the back room and kitchen of the house was a great space for a larger group which was needed given the cozy lounge was quite snug however another television wouldn't go a miss in there, especially during the colder months of the year and later into the evening. Thirdly I'm not sure what the solution is apart from a gate guests can get out to block the 2 tiled steps in the kitchen and dining area. Certainly for older children wouldn't be too concerning but the mix of tiles floors, socks and steep steps did cause a couple of tumbles for our 2 and 3 year old. Finally, it would be nice to have a folder or pamphlet of information for all the local information, hot eating spots, places to visit etc. Hopefully this is constructive. We had a great stay and my last point is you should give more detail on all the amenities you have in the property. We found items like the Nespresso machine, a travel cot (not mentioned) but would have saved us bringing one and great to have and some more. We think we will book again for the summer!
