Beautifully renovated cottage in a stunning location. Thank you for everything.

This is a lovely property in a lovely hamlet within a very short walk of the Cider Press Centre, Dartington Hall, and one of the best pubs in the South West, the Cott Inn.

The house is well appointed with lots of space and a good kitchen. It was let down by a heating & hot water system that was too complicated for its own good: we had no space heating at all. When we queried this with the owner we were told not to touch it, but would have had no hot water for showers. The GF toilet seat was unattached and so could not be used - this would have been known before our tenancy.

Spacious and comfortable with all bedding, towels, anne itunes that we could require.

Great location-easily accessible to the coast and local towns by car. Local shop and pub are 5 min walk (book ahead if going to the pub). Thanks!

Lovely and spacious property with a well appointed kitchen which meant we really enjoyed our stay.

Parking wasn’t as bad as feared. We managed three cars between us. Booked a lovely meal at The Cott Inn and so handy having Totnes near by too for the supermarket. Would have preferred the pond not to be there for the dog but she only discovered it at the end of the holiday. We had all 4 seasons of weather in our week and the property worked well for each. Nice neighbours. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay.

The beds were very comfy which is always very important. The cottage was lovely but in need of some TCL. The garden also could do with some TLC. The most important thing is there should be handrails by the outdoor steps! It was wet during our stay and they were very slippery. It was lovely to read about the history of the cottage. The cottage has everything you could need and more. We would love to stay again and would happily recommend it.

We loved this house and it's garden.

It was large and bright. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. We especially enjoyed sitting at the sunroom in the back and watching the birds. The only issues were that the living room with the fireplace smelled like smoke, and there was no laundry rack to hang the wet laundry. We would recommend this house.

We had a lovely stay!

Arrived in the dark and rain which made it difficult to find the cottage, but once we did it was easy get to and from. Rooms were very comfortable, wood burner was a delight and the garden was delightful when the sun was shining! Overall a great stay.

This is a wonderful, high spec property with picture postcard surroundings and great facilities within walking distance including an award winning pub & restaurant, farm shop and deli.

Great family house that felt like a home from home.

Comfortable, spacious and secure walled garden with great furniture to relax in and catch some sunshine. Fabulous dining table and kitchen to satisfy any budding chef. Wonderful village style location with a great pub just a few minutes walk away.

Lovely house in a quiet situation within 5minutes walk of the main road and the wonderful Cott Inn Well equipped kitchen though the Smeg oven needs some attention Garden somewhat on the wild side but we didn’t use the barbecue or sit out in the evening sun Lots of steps and uneven ground but we all coped Biggest beef was lack of instructions Had to ring the help number to find out what to do with recycling

Small quibbles 1. Insufficient towels: sorted with a phone call, but really a single small bath towel is not enough for a week. 2. Would have appreciates instructions for e.g., TV remote, kettle microwave etc. 3. Toater and gas hob not fully working.
