The property

Savernake is a spacious 1920's detached beach side holiday home and enjoys superb sea views from all the principal rooms.

It is located near the village of Thurlestone in Devon and is ideal for families and friends.

The property, once frequented by ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, has been extensively refurbished with a well-equipped kitchen/dining room, ground floor shower room and the inclusion of two en-suite shower rooms. The spacious entrance hallway leads into the ground floor accommodation with a staircase rising to the first floor bedrooms.

The kitchen also features a central island with breakfast bar and the dining area offers views over the garden across to South Milton Sands.

The main lounge also benefits from sea views with a further TV room provided. There are five bedrooms in total offering flexible accommodation for up to eight guests.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite shower room.

Bedroom two has a super king-size zip and link bed that can be made into singles on request.

Bedroom three is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite shower room.

Lastly, bedroom four has a double bed and the fifth is furnished with a single bed.

There is also a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom, with separate shower cubicle on the first floor. The house stands within its own grounds with a large garden laid to lawn with mature shrubs to the front and a further lawned garden to the rear.

There is also ample off-road parking.

Thurlestone offers everything you might need to enjoy a quality break in Devon, with a golf course, pub and spa serving afternoon teas as well as luxury treatments.

The seaside resort of Salcombe offers sandy beaches and lovely walking opportunities, as well as many watersports facilities for those seeking a thrill!

A slightly further away is Bigbury-on-Sea, nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a variety of beach activities.

Explore the South West Coast Path for breath-taking scenery and enjoy a healthy break at this superb retreat.

Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.
