Kingsbridge Show is a much loved annual event in South Devon, and this year, the show returns to Kingsbridge on Saturday 7th September. Held at Borough Farm and boasting sweeping countryside views, this long-standing event brings together the local community, farmers and craftspeople to celebrate the very best of rural life and agriculture in South Devon.

Kingsbridge Show has been running for 143 years, with 2024 marking its 70th year at Borough Farm. As such, you can expect the celebrations to be in full flow throughout the day with a wealth of things to do and see. Read on for all you need to know about the 2024 Kingsbridge Show…

Kingsbridge Show is jam packed with things to do. The main ring boasts a busy schedule with events that range from Pony Club games and Terrier Racing to the much-loved family dog show and the stunning Parade of Vintage Tractors! 2024 also welcomes the Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show – with 25 years’ experience under his belt, racing at British Championship level, his performance is quite a spectacle.

The event is not just about agriculture; it also celebrates rural crafts and skills. The Craft Marquee will showcase traditional, local crafts like blacksmithing, woodworking, and textile arts. Be sure to arrive with a healthy appetite too, because food enthusiasts can look forward to sampling an array of sumptuous local produce.

Aside from the main ring, other show attractions include;

  • Horticulture and home craft marquee, including floral art and children’s classes
  • Scarecrow competition (open to schools and children’s groups only!)
  • Young Farmers classes
  • Petting animals including donkeys, goats, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs
  • Craft marquee
  • Food and drinks tent, with additional catering outlets and licensed bar
  • Live music
