The front terrace was only accessible from the steep drive, contained a uninviting metal table and two chairs overlooking the bins and recycling boxes. Upstairs off the kitchen was an unkemp decked area with dead weeds, dirt and cobwebs, not outside space on three sides as in the description. Upstairs was lovely, but disappear lack of washing up cloths, scrubber or liquid, surely a basic commodity. Downstairs was a different experience. The largest bedroom had an ensuite with black mould on the ceiling, a bath which wasn't clean and a washbasin tap almost impossible to use. The second double smelt damp and the bedding felt clammy, not particularly pleasant. The twin bedroom was fine. The shower room floor was very wet on arrival and despite drying it continued to collect moisture at the back of the cistern/washbasin. On arrival both recycling boxes were full with no instructions left as to when these should be put out. In summary, very overpriced and overstaffed. And yes, we did report all these issues after our first night.
