“Aune is a charming old cottage in the heart of Salcombe.”

It is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children but access is up a very steep alley from the main high street in the town so could be an issue for anyone with access issues as you cannot approach by car. The cottage was simply furnished, plenty of kitchen equipment and a decent washing machine and tumbler. The view from the garden over the estuary is wonderful. The cottage was simply furnished, plenty of kitchen equipment and a decent washing machine and tumbler. The view from the garden over the estuary is wonderful. The bed linen felt very tired and could do with replacing but the beds were comfortable. We loved reading about the history of the cottage, and location wise, it couldn't be any closer to the hustle and bustle of the town.
